Birdy Graphics
Bird photographer Jason Garcia (Birds by Jason) and multidisciplinary artist Emily Galusha meld full-color photos of birds with illustrative watercolors to create the beautiful and informative Birdy Poster series.
Jason has nurtured a love of birds from a very young age, and his early photographic field guides inspired him to pursue a new challenge of bird photography in 2020. His work raises awareness of birds through the natural beauty of his subjects.
Emily sources inspiration from the resiliency of the natural world and how it is connected both to science and the transcendental – focusing on the relationships between Nature and humanity, living and longing. Travel fuels this work as she is able to learn about different regions' local wildlife, such as endangered species. She focuses on watercolor as well as charcoal, graphite and mixed media.
