
Trisha R Kummer
Trisha is focused primarily on watercolor painting. She has been living and creating art in Central Austin for more than 15 years. She came here from the San Francisco Bay Area where she was involved with an artist collective for photographers as well as creative groups involved with Burning Man. She has a BA in Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. She grew up in Williston, ND and continues to identify as one of the rare North Dakotans out in the wild. Trisha has experience with and dabbles in many artistic media, often creating mixed-media artworks involving collage and assemblage with wire, thread, beads, and rocks. She is an Art Teacher and a generally curious person. She has shown her art in Austin at Gallery Black Lagoon, Art Outside, and the Neil-Cockran House Museum. Her photography has been featured online.
