J. Michelle Galek

J. Michelle Galek is an interdisciplinary artist specializing in mixed media and acrylic paints. Her current work investigates the intermingling of intellectual rigor, quantitative process, creative freedom, and structural dynamism. Through a critical engagement of her own thought processes and means of interacting with the world around her, J. Michelle seeks to create art that is tactile in nature, allowing the viewer to physically experience her work, while simultaneously confronting fundamental questions that may be resolved in the space of her art, whereby new behaviors, thought patterns, and refinement of emotion can emerge.
