Emily Eisenhart

Emily Eisenhart is a multidisciplinary artist based in Austin, Texas. The daughter of an artist and anthropologist, she grew up with a paintbrush in one hand and a field book in the other. Her work is heavily inspired by her adventures outdoors, especially the shapes, patterns, and natural colors around her. With a formal background in Cultural Anthropology, Emily approaches many of her projects as an ethnographer, diving deep into the culture of a place to create dynamic color palettes and story-driven artwork. While painting is her forte, Emily believes everything is a canvas. She has illustrated on all scales, from small portraits to expansive 7-story murals, and has designed everything from bespoke hotel wallpaper to custom textiles, race car wraps to athletic gear, boutique wine labels to vibrant residential commissions. Her large scale work can be found on many muraled walls around Austin.
