Regina Allen

Regina Allen is a contemporary landscape artist. She grounds her paintings and collages in the patterns and colors of landscape. Her art sensuously captures the enduring beauty and tenacity of nature, expressing a tentative hopefulness along with her concerns about global climate change. Regina grew up in the verdant hills of Nashville, TN. She earned her MFA in painting from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a BFA in painting and BA in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. She’s taught painting and drawing in a variety of universities and colleges around the country, and is currently a Professor of Art at Central Texas College in Killeen, TX. She lives and paints in Austin, TX.
