Tour Stop #399

Heather Sundquist Hall

Heather Sundquist Hall is an illustrator based in Texas. Hall grew up in New York and spent nearly a decade in Philadelphia prior to moving to Texas ten years ago. She holds degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY and from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia and has spent over ten years working in the field of education, specifically, Montessori education.

Heather has been working with gouache on paper for nearly a decade. Her husband introduced the medium to her when they were first dating. Thinking both he and the water based delightful pigment were pretty great, she kept them both around.

Heather’s work has been exhibited around the country, most recently at the Webb Gallery in Waxahachie, Texas, Preacher Gallery in Austin, Texas and at Nahcotta, in New Hampshire. Heather’s artwork is featured in the curated section of the 24th and 7th issues of Create Magazine. Her freelance illustrations have been featured in Breathe Magazine, Birth.Death.Movies, the Alamo Draft house Magazine in addition to Spirituality and Health Magazine and Tribeza.
