Factory on 5th

Hello, and welcome artists, creatives, enthusiasts, and supporters! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Factory on 5th. You may have spotted me as you made your way through East Austin. I’m the hot-pink Quonset hut, smack dab in the middle of a row of shiny silver warehouses on 5th Street. I pride myself on standing out, getting dolled up, and making myself known. As a self-proclaimed social butterfly, I love building connections and growing communities.

Through the decades, I’ve seen a lot of things, and reinvented myself many times, but I’ve always maintained my maker vibes. In my new form, you can think of me as your East Austin artistic studio and community space. My walls provide an energetic field for a burgeoning creative community starting with a core cadre of working studio artists. These ambitious creatives have the opportunity to grow their craft in my studio, display their creations in my gallery, and connect to the colorful East Austin art world.
