Beverly Deutsch

Texan, born on Galveston Island, residing in Austin since 1978. I’ve found the “Yippee Yahoo!” moments seem to be so often outnumbered by the “WTF?” moments in life, up till now, and these works are my process of refocusing, observation, and prayer. The act of making art distracts me from tears, fears, pain; moves me forward. I work in oils on canvas or watercolor with pastel. Impressionistic representations of nature, figurative, and abstract feeling imagery.
