Brian Shimansky

A self-taught designer, Brian began drawing at an early age and credits Bob Jensen and Mark Teshkoyan of James Caldwell High School and Mike at Endgrain Furniture for teaching him the woodworking skills he employs today.

Through his extensive travels while working in the fashion world, he has been inspired most by the works of John Lautner, Jean-Michel Gathy, and George Nakashima. Brian studies and applies the principles of Feng Shui to each of his designs, striving to create strong pieces from recycled, repurposed, and reclaimed materials.
