I am a children's book illustrator, an artist, and a...dun dun dun...Middle School Art Teacher. I grew up in Austin, fled to Texas State University- San Marcos for a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education, and returned to torture the souls of your dear youths by forcing them to -gasp- make things! One great advantage of such an environment is that I constantly also get to create and grow as an artist, because as you know, pre-teens get bored easily so they need the ol' razzle dazzle, and they are also the harshest critics.
