Culture, people, and their traditions. This is basically what is reflected in the series “My People and Their Traditions”. The great love and pride I feel for my country Mexico, led me to want to show through my work, the rich, fascinating diversity of its inhabitants. I am curious to know the stories behind each person. Why does he have that job? Why does he wear these fabrics and wear those colors? What traditions do they follow and what are their dreams? By translating them onto canvas, I can make these traditions and this way leaves my legacy.
