Francine Funke

Francine Funke is a multi-faceted artist whose work ranges from large mixed media wall pieces and installations, to acrylic paintings on canvas, to photography and works on paper. Her artwork has been exhibited in museums and galleries nationwide. After relocating to Austin, several years ago, her artwork was included in exhibitions at the Craighead Green Gallery, Dallas, The People's Gallery in Austin City Hall, Warden Art, AO5 Gallery in Austin, and The Other Art Fair, Dallas, as well as the East and West Austin Studio Tours.

Francine’s new work was chosen by Zaha Hadid Architects to be installed in the the Zaha Hadid residential tower, “One Thousand Museum” in Miami, Florida, and MD Anderson in Houston recently purchased 8 of her mixed media works.

Her museum exhibitions include the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, The Scottsdale Contemporary Art Museum, The Parrish and Aldrich Museums, as well as a foyer installation at the Senate Rotunda on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

Her New York City exhibitions include an major window installation at the Mixed Greens Gallery in Chelsea, the Walter Wickiser Gallery, and Barbara Braathen Galleries.
