Cass Hook

Cass Hook was born in Wyoming but moved to Texas and was raised in Fort Worth. He attended Oklahoma University and T.C.U. before moving to Austin in the early 1970s. His first involvement in the arts was in the music business as a club operator and band manager. He began writing poetry in the 70s and published an arts journal, The Dead Tree. In the nineties he began a study of sculpture and has shown many times in the Austin area. In 2019 he organized and participated in a group show in Fort Worth.
