Julie Ahmad has been studying the art of expressionism for over 9 years professionally with the onset of expanding her family and the pregnancy of her first child. No medium is off limits; she incorporates acrylic, resin, texture paste, mica, charcoal, oil pastels, watercolor crayons, colored pencil, graphite, found objects and even artist tape. Specializing in large scale abstracts you can find her work at Austin Art Garage and SoCo Modern Art Gallery as well as her own Studio/Gallery on Thornton Road in the 04.
