Tour Stop #157
Sandy Ball Muckleroy
I grew up in the 60s and 70s playing in the dunes and woods of Indiana and Michigan. My parents were professional artists/sculptors and I accompanied them to art fairs all across the midwest and south. The impressions, experiences, and memories, taken in and created, left an indelible mark on my soul. At the age of fifty, I found myself called to follow in my mother's footsteps, accepting her offer to carry on creating in her sculptural style. Using an oxy-acetylene torch, bronze rods, and beautiful mineral specimens, I create bonsai-inspired tree sculptures. I am honored and humbled by this opportunity on a daily basis.
