Dre Lewis

I draw inspiration in my work in clay primarily from the perfectly imperfect characteristics of nature. I have worked in a diverse range of mediums from sculpture, wheel throwing, raku firing, writing, photography, hand building, painting and drawing. My first pieces focused on textures, shapes, translucency and using porcelain as a canvas for poetry and painting concepts. Every piece that I make is a one of a kind.
