Jill Robinson

I have been creating fine gourd art for 16 years, was a basket weaver for 30 years, and worked for the state of Texas for 27 years. At some point the combination of the basket/gourd worlds morphed into what I do today. I have won many awards in both mediums. Most recently I won both top awards of Best of Show and People's Choice at the 2021 Texas State Gourd Show in Fredericksburg. Also in 2021, the Houston Arts Alliance purchased one of my pieces as part of their permanent collection to be featured at one of the Houston Airports. Austin-Bergstrom Airport featured my work in 2021-2022.
