Shakti Sarkin

Shakti’s sculptures are made by welding, woodworking and painting, and incorporate the unique material of wood bark. By collecting the bark that falls naturally to the ground, no trees are harmed in the making of her art.

Shakti’s abstract oil paintings complement the aesthetic in her sculptures.

Shakti started very young, winning her first art competition in grade school with a hand-painted and hand-formed sculpture. Her artistic accolades have continued throughout her life and she continues to make painted sculptures.
