Sam Angoori
Sam started painting with watercolors in the '80s and with acrylics in the '90s. For the past few years, he has been painting with oil. Sam paints plein air as well as studio work. When he is not painting, he spends time studying other artists' works, past and present.
Sam graduated from the University of Texas and, like most artists, worked for many years in other professions to support his family and the love for Art. The love and passion for painting have always stayed an integral part of his life. For him, painting means artistically capturing a moment in time and emotionally conveying the message. Sam has studied with nationally known artists such as Joe Paquet, Matt Smith, Scott Christensen, Sherrie McGraw, Lorenzo Chavez, Michael Siegel and Skip Whitcomb.
