Rosemarie Good

As a mixed media artist I have had a life long love affair with layering transparent mediums and textures. I am captivated by color, line and creating a sense of atmosphere out of the abstract. With each piece I look to balance these elements in a way that is both inviting and intriguing. This process of marrying colors, textures and movement is where I find myself most fully alive as an artist.

My life as an artist has gone through many seasons. From being a professional in the design industry to discovering a passion for teaching others, to becoming an artist with a studio practice and creating a body of work – it has been a journey with priceless lessons, which have shaped me in every way.

I have lived in the Austin area since 2007 with my husband who is a musician. We have two crazy, creative kids and two crazy mischievous pugs.
