Kara Manza

Kara Manza’s art work is described as joyful. Her use of vibrant palettes, expressive brush strokes and a fanciful style has been influenced by her life of travel and adventure. She currently resides in Austin, Texas after being an elementary school teacher and an expatriate in Madrid, Spain; Monterrey, Mexico; Toronto, Canada, Mexico City, as well as living in Michigan, Connecticut, Texas (4 times!) and California. Upon retirement, Kara began taking painting classes at The Contemporary in Austin, the Kara Bullock Art School and Melanie Morris Art School.

Kara has been inspired by her father, Terry Henline, who is a retired automotive designer for General Motors.

Kara has painted for Jo Malone London and is represented by Five 3 Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA. She has exhibited her work at Truly Chiropractic, El Tigre Coffee, and Art Direct in Austin, Texas.

Kara is passionate about volunteering and has donated art boxes to all the children of the Helping Hand Home for severely abused children in Austin as well as artwork to silent auctions benefiting the Helping Hand Home, the Mainspring School, the National Kidney Foundation and JDRF to fight type 1 diabetes (T1D).
