Raymond Uhlir

Raymond Uhlir (b. 1979, Chicago, IL) is a painter based in Austin, Texas. He earned his BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas – Austin in 2002 and his MFA in Studio Art from the University of California – Santa Barbara in 2010. Raymond has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Project 4 Gallery, Washington D.C., Deborah Colton Gallery, Houston, TX, and D. Berman Gallery, Austin, TX. Group exhibitions include the Visual Art Center, Austin, TX, The Contemporary, Austin, TX, MASS Gallery, Austin, TX, And/Or Gallery, Dallas, TX, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, CA. His work has been featured in publications and platforms such as the Washington Post, the Austin Chronicle, the Houston Press, the Austin American Statesman, Glasstire, Conflicts of Interest, Sight Lines, and Art Lies.
